RIEEA - The Rhode Island Environmental Education Association supports and promotes high-quality environmental education throughout Rhode Island. It sponsors professional development and networking opportunities, offers online resources and communications, gathers and disseminates information on environmental education, and promotes public understanding of environmental issues. The H T Ewald Foundation has supported RIEEA for the past four years to bring climate literacy to educators in formal and nonformal settings, helping teachers understand the causes and mechanisms of climate change, as well as both global and local solutions. The support for this environmental education organization is managed by Holly Ewald.
